Guess what? The Winter Festival is coming to town. Come enjoy some fresh air with your friends and family! One of the many events this great little town offers to its residents. In addition to low property taxes (actually the lowest in Bergen county) this picturesque town sits on the top of a gorgeous hill. NYC skyline to the East and amazing mountain views to the West. Believe it or not I’ve heard you can see Julie Andrews belting away the “THE HILLS ARE ALIVE WITH THE SOUND OF MUSIC!” from the top of the hill by the Carlstadt NJ elementary school.

No? You haven’t seen her? Maybe it was just a rumor? Well….maybe you’ll see Julie…. or maybe just me… Probably just me… at the Winter Festival. Can’t wait! See you there!

CARLSTADT RECREATION will be hosting and you will get to enjoy some fun times! I hear a bounce house, petting zoo and a photo backdrop for the kids will be available! There will also be a variety of craft vendors. You get many different food choices including the communities own  MasterPizza, Nonna Rosa , Pizza Amore Italian Kitchen, Veriella’s bakery, Chocolate Dreams… Enjoy a Bolero beer garden or hot cocoa from the Carlstadt PTA. Carlstadt police, fire and ambulance will be giving out holiday information tips and DJ Rob will be pumping out holiday music for all to enjoy…. You will also hear  music from  Becton Regional High School Choir!!

Oh and a SUPRISE GUEST!  A very special guest who I hear is very Jolly this time of year!!! Looking forward to seeing our community and friends!! Come enjoy one of the many seasonal activities this wonderful town offers! However don’t come to Carlstadt NJ for Julie. She probably won’t be here.
